The ravings of a madman.

That was the ‘official’ report at least. Still, the returned picture was unsettling to Marcus. Since his time at the institute he had not seen a creature drawn as such, especially coming from Shurima, but that was what the witness said before his untimely demise. The guards had come across him, ranting and raving about the impending destruction of the world, speaking words of madness, and generally bothering the population of Tal’Ashyr. Afterwards when he was brought in be pulled this piece of paper from his pockets and began to convulse. Advanced dehydration had already set in, though for one reason or another it’s obvious signs were suppressed until it was too late.

Marcus sat in the dusty chair, one boot crossed over his knee, staring at the scribbles on the parchment. He had seen this figure before, or more like, he had seen it’s shape. “What was he saying again?” he flatly said to the guard who sat across from him, reclining in the chair as a breeze cut through the open room. “Eh sumtin about ‘the will of the sands’ and ‘time was running out’. It sounded to me like he was trying to recruit to a cult.”

“Troubling…” Marcus replied, glancing upward to the guard momentarily before back down to the paper. He sighed and rose from his seat, rolling the only clue he had up gently to take with him, and addressed the guard. “If you see anything else like this, notify me right away.” The guard nodded, and Marcus made his way out through the cloth ‘door’. His next destination was the institute.

More information was needed.

[[And so begins my new story arc revolving around the upcoming conflict in Shurima and the League of legends. What is this character in the picture? Perhaps it is a poorly drawn champion. Or perhaps it is nothing. Only time will tell folks. Stay tuned.]]

I need to stay with someone for a bit…

Jarvan clearly wants to be left alone for a while and I wish to honor his request… Would anyone happen to have a spare room I could use for a while?

“It just so happens that I do. I had me home recently re-renovated though, so you will have to put up with a lack of fancy housewares.”

Yeah! I’m finally back! My injures are now healed (not fully), don’t worry Taric i’ll be careful with myself.
Sooo, I decided to change my clothes not only because I want to be more cool but even because of comfort and lil’ bit of safety.

“Interesting choice of clothing summoner! I like it. It very much reminds me of my own clothing, if a little more revealing.”

Heh, Thanks Marcus!
You have blue eyes am I right?… Sorry for it but I think we are a lil’ bit similar.Just a lil’ bit of course.

“I do…. I’m curious, where are you from?”

“Hmmmm” was Marcus reply as he helped solidify the face of the other summoner in his mind. “Well, I’ll be sure to bring him up to the tribunal the next time I evaluate cases.” He glanced at the box again, trying to find anything interesting about its exterior. Any sort of artifact interested him, but in this ones case it was merely the nature of the box, rather than it’s contents that had his attention. “in the meantime, let’s see about getting this item to its owner. Is the address you received within the institute?

“Thanks for taking care of this, and me. coincidentally.” Nova smiles warmly, but shakes his head at his question “No,” He pulls out a slip of paper and reads it aloud “This is to be delivered to Shurima, in T- Tal’ Asher? Ashyr. pack light bring lots of water.” He sighs again pinching the spot between his eyes “I don’t wanna go to Shurima, its so hot during the day. but.. a mission is a mission.”

A reply of Shurima would be enough to make Marcus snap to full attention, but including Tal’Ashyr in the destination made him now deeply invested in helping to deliver the box. But wait… with such a specific destination, could it be that he was the recipient of the box? It wouldn’t hurt to try. “That is where I am from, actually. I could help you deliver the box, but…. let me just see.” He slowly reached out a hand, just to touch the edge of the vessel, just to see if it was for him.

Nova leans his head to the side, looking up at Marcus curiously “You’re from Shurima? huh, never knew that. See what? the box?” He considers this for a moment, and then starts wondering why he is hesitating, this is Marcus, he wouldn’t run off with the box. He hands Marcus the box.

With the earlier trouble between Marcus and the other Summoner, the box has recognized the area, as calm and peaceful. At Marcus’s touch it glows brightly in a flash and the tiny clasp that for appearance’s sake made it look locked, pops open.

Nova had the most confused look in his face, looking at the box and at Marcus “W-What. Then… you’re the recipient? Wh-What’s in it? I-I mean no never mind. “

Marcus lifted the lid and looked into the box. Inside was a regal piece of paper and a small brown package, as far as he could see. Taking both of them out of that box that Nova held, Marcus first turned to the piece of paper starting from the bottom. “High Summoner Heywan Relivash….” he said quietly. “No wonder it was important than….”

‘Dear Summoner Marcus. Congratulations on your recent promotion within the league. In the time you have spent here you have shown great promise, and much use to not only the mages of the institute, but to the citizens of the cities of Valoran as well. From henceforth I am establishing you as a Emissary of the League, primarily responsible for matters regarding the settlement of the province of Shurima. Also as not only a summoner and Emissary, you will still be tasked with internal missions of importance to the High Council, and League Council.’

Reading those words, he thumbed the paper, separating a second piece that had been perfectly aligned and folded into the first one. He flipped them around and read it.

‘You are charged with weeding out any summoners who may be thinking of abandoning the league, and leaving with critical information that may be put to malicious use. Gather information and relay it to me specifically, tell nobody of this order, and destroy this correspondence. HR’

Marcus seemed to stare at the second note for a minute, his eyes narrowing as he read and re-read it. Turing his gaze back up to Nova he smiled, and crumpled the second bit of paper in his hand, and tossing it alight with blue flame over his shoulder. “You have brought me excellent news.” he cheerfully said, and began opening the brown package. Inside were two golden clasps, adorned with the insignia of the institute. Marcus stared at them for a moment before suddenly realizing what they were for, and replaced the two clasps that held his jacket together just under his collarbones. “I’ve been promoted to a Emissary of Shurima. It is interesting though since Shurima has no political leader….”

True/False game. Make an assumption about me in my ask and I’ll tell you if its true or false. Go.
